Re posted on my new xanga, that does what i want when i ask it.
http://www.xanga.com/novah1

So i suppose the last week has been pretty okay.  With a few generally good things ringing in the back ofmy mind, keeps a very happy smile on me, yay!  Just goes to show no matter what happens, you always bounce back.  Life's wacky like that.  Though i think right now i wish i had the pwoer to read peoples minds because everyone keeps whispering things.  im like wtf just tell me i needa shower :C xD  good times.  All my classes have had recent tests so theres nothing to dread in the next week either!   CS 301 lab tomorrow, cs217 HW (project) due friday, geology is horribly lame and boring but is only fun to go to because i bring my laptop and have read 400 (i am NOT joking on that number) nuklearpower.com comics in the class (aside from typing notes at 342978 gwam, yay) the urge to get on aim is harder and harder each day in that class. i soon will break.

I need a new aim screen name. my most awsome friend that i havent really met, but have talked to for two and a half years is giving me his screen name that he used for a while. i was pissed when i realized i didnt think of it. i migh tuse it in the future.  "Sweett Child"  (guns n roses ftw)

My math class isnt really that exciting since sadly (sigh) im taking it for the second time.  The story is, i excel in math (compared to my lack of intelligence in other courses haha) and never really had to study or any cool things like that in HS so when i was placed into the correct math here i was like oh this is easy*FAIL* ; ;   i got an 85 on the final, which was comprehensive, given i WAS doing horrible that whoel semester,  it didnt pull me up to a C (gotta have a C to go on)  even though it was comprehensive and showed that i knew the work i tried to explain that to the prof that she should give me the D and letme proceed but shes like NOWAI.  dang. so yeah math is easy, it happens the 2nd time around -_-

Ah yes. uni band.  3 songs
Bulla: i play the bass part that is (im NOT joking) about the level of a 5th grader.
4-8-16 measures of rests, a lead in by the snare saying that i dont even need to COUNT those rests, then bass drum beats on like 1 and 2 (3/4 time lawl)so yeah i pretyt much just put myself on autopilot and fall asleep >_>

Grieg.  only one of our section plays. today for uni band i spent 75% of it in the sundial.

Ah yes, Donald white. FUCK donald white for being smart enough to write an actual good timpani piece but being dumb enough to think any human being that dosent have perfect pitch (i gots relative pitch, HA all you people who think percs are deaf. HA. ALL OF YOU) but yeah, i'll have like... three seconds to tune 3 notes, which are NOT in the key that the band is currently playing.  at the end of movement one, the entry to mvmt 2 is pretty much a grand pause, in which i have to tune 3 notes, two of which i play 2 measures later, in a timpani solo.  Solo is great, only sometimes he starts on the 2nd song, and if we start right there, i have to tune all 5timpani, and hes like 123GO... OMG WHARE IS THE TIMPANI.
me: "err....." (you try tuning this this fast, i dont care how great your tuning abilities are, be lucky you have to tune only once per day, and he gives time and music for doing so. try tuning your b flat, or a g or whatever yall get to play when they pull out the tuner while some moron is screaming a D flat in the background, considering donald whites perspective of not having a key signature at all this makes it alot of fun for me. the song goes so fast i cant even use the little pitch pipe (pitch thing that resembles a circular harmonica) to tune.
Its actually very fun to play, since timpani is my favorite.  I keep speeding up my solo hes like yeah...dont...

imagine tuning those notes really quickly (mind swirrling very fast) then to stop and play slow eights. haha, i'll get it next time~

woot.

Life is flowing pretty grand lately, i hope it gets a tad warmer out so i can rollarblade to class like a total dork.  yay.

Peace.

Love,
-me
